About

Twenty years in marketing. Two years building the tools myself.

I test and write about where AI actually fits in a marketing operation - building the agents and automations myself rather than recommending someone else's.

What I do

Twenty years in marketing - brand, demand generation, product marketing, and digital - in organizations with real budgets and results that got measured. Currently VP of Marketing at a Pacific Northwest credit union.

About two years ago I stopped waiting for vendors to ship what I needed and started building it myself: an orchestration layer, local models on a 24GB GPU, and around ten scheduled jobs that run unattended. Running these things in production teaches you which pieces break, how often, and what it costs to keep them alive.
